Navigation and View Modes for Projection Mapping
Master navigation controls and view modes for projection mapping. Learn to zoom, pan, use X-ray mode, performance mode, and toggle panels for efficient workflows.
Projection mapping requires precise alignment and detailed work. You need tools to zoom in for precision, pan around large canvases, and optimize your view for different tasks. Without proper navigation controls, warping and alignment become frustrating and time-consuming.
Map Club provides comprehensive navigation tools in its web-based interface. Both input and output canvases support pinch-to-zoom (touch) and scroll-wheel zoom (mouse), plus two-finger pan (touch) and middle-mouse-button pan. The X-ray mode displays surfaces as green outlines only, making alignment much easier. The performance mode optimizes the interface when running many shaders. Use the toggle panels button or keyboard shortcuts (L, P, I, O) to show/hide panels and maximize workspace.
