Exporting a video

Exporting a video records your output as an MP4 file, so you can share your show or play it back on a media player without Map Club.

Click to reveal the file menu and choose Export video. Set the length in seconds (it defaults to the timeline's duration), then click Record. Map Club plays the current scene from the start of its timeline and records the output at your output size, including the sound from any video layers. The file downloads when recording finishes, or click Stop and save to end early.

Recording runs in real time, so a 60 second show takes 60 seconds to export. Keep the tab open and in front until it finishes. Chrome and Safari save MP4 files. Firefox saves WebM.
