Timeline Panel
Adding keyframes
Keyframes define a layer's opacity, position, and rotation at a specific point in time. The timeline interpolates between keyframes to create animation.
Select a layer, then click the add keyframe button that appears at the playhead position in the timeline. The keyframe captures the layer's current opacity, position, and rotation. You can also edit a selected keyframe's properties directly — changes to the layer on the canvas will automatically sync to the selected keyframe.
Next, learn to move keyframes and set keyframe modes.
