Timeline Panel
Keyframe easing
Easing curves control the rate of change when transitioning between keyframes, making animations feel more natural.
When a keyframe is set to transition mode, you can choose from four easing curves in the Properties panel:
- Linear — constant speed from start to finish
- Ease In — starts slow, accelerates toward the end
- Ease Out — starts fast, decelerates toward the end
- Ease In-Out — starts slow, speeds up in the middle, then slows down at the end
Easing only applies to keyframes using transition mode. Instant mode keyframes ignore easing.
